Mindi Mohr – MPT
Master of Physical Therapy
-Mindi Mohr, MPT
Mindi adds years of experience in exercise physiology and sports medicine to the Compass Physical Therapy team. Mindi grew up in Texas before moving to California with her family.
Working as a physical therapy aide in a hospital setting for many years, Mindi knew it was something she wanted to do. At the time, she also had a strong interest in sports medicine and exercise. As she continued to live an active lifestyle, playing tennis and involved with swimming, it seemed her interests started connecting.
Mindi completed her undergraduate work in exercise physiology at California Sate University, Fresno. She went on to earn a seat in the physical therapy program at Fresno State and graduated with her master’s degree in physical therapy.
Patients are quickly drawn to Mindi for her calming demeanor and attentiveness throughout their treatment. Mindi has a strong belief the body is designed to move. For individuals about to begin physical therapy, she’d like them to understand there is process to their treatment and that it is important to enter in with realistic expectations, “Passive treatment feels good at the time, but the body is made to be active. Exercise and strengthening will have longer, more beneficial effects.” As our facility continues to serve the patients of our community, we trust that any patient who comes in contact with Mindi will benefit from her experience.
When we say she can do it all, Mindi can literally do it all. She is the mother of six beautiful children and loves spending time with her family and pets. She even finds time to garden! Mindi loves to stay active through walking, yoga, and weight training. Compass Physical Therapy is delighted to have her as a team member and excited about the value she adds to the pursuit of our vision.
